Minesweeper debunked: The number in the square represents the number of bombs touching said square. You must right click where you believe the bomb to be and it will be flagged. You try to flag all bombs and reveal all numbers in a quick fashion-to beat the clock. I have hi scores on beg, intermed, and expert . . . mainly because no one else in my family cares about the game. My galaxga(?) high score gets much more respect. Too bad you have a Mac and can't experience all the fun. My work here is done.

OK, I stand corrected on my understanding of flood insurance. I hate to spread misinformation so:

According to <a href="http://www.floodsmart.gov/" target="_blank">http://www.floodsmart.gov/</a>

As you found out (and my brother discoverd in the flood of 1994), Homeowners policies do not cover flood insurance (even if its a cracked water pipe).

Flood insurance policies are available in two flavors: structure damage or structure damage and contents.

There is typically a 30-day waiting period—from date of purchase—before a new flood policy goes into effect.

Flood insurance for a home that is not in a flood plain can be purchased and can cost as little as $300 a yr.

I think a lot of us are seriously considering adding a flood policy after the events of last week. Sorry that you have to endure the cost of the losses.

More info at: <a href="http://www.floodsmart.gov/floodsmart/pages/residential_coverage/homeowner.jsp" target="_blank">http://www.floodsmart.gov/floodsmart/pages/reside...</a>

i don't understand this either:

Happy is he who repays you for what you have done to us – he who seizes your infants and dashes them against the rocks. (Psalm 137:9)

Ultimate Fighting Championships- I have a hard time even watching a clip of someone in the NFL spraining their knee. Why would I pay to watch someone's face get beat in with no mercy?

when my brothers home flooded in 1994 that homeowners insurance does not include flood insurance. It sems flood insurance is administered by the federal government, and you can't purchase flood insurance unless you live in a flood plain.

Why would someone live in a flood plain? And why wouldn't you be able to buy flood insurance even after being flooded? It makes no sense.

I have never understood TV, especially live TV. How do you send video and audio through wires so that I can see it instantly...in HD no less?
