Arbitrary Thoughts

+ Winner of the random Nintendo question drawing is…the Super-Smash-Bros-loving Clark. Email me your address and I’ll send Tarver’s book your way.

+ This month has been crazy busy.* Thanks for being patient with the severe blogging inconsistency. Hopefully the madness is about to die down a little.

+ Tell me you’ve heard about this.

+ Any Rdio users? After listening to Los evangelize about it yesterday, I’m in. It’s kind of like Spotify, but way better. Go here to try it free for a week. After that, it’s $5/month. (Listening to Mat Kearney’s new album on it while typing this. Can’t decide if I like the music or the album cover better. Both are wonderful.)

+ Sure is delightful to have Breaking Bad and Curb back in my life. Can I get an amen?

+ I tweeted about this last week. It’s a staggering visual look at our $15 trillion debt. Most shocking fact to me: If you spent $1 million each day since the time of Jesus until today, you still wouldn’t have spent one trillion dollars.

+ Modern Ink did a write-up on Tripp and I in their online magazine this month. If you have some spare time, head over and take a gander.

*I know. “Crazy busy” is just as bad as “super pumped”. My apologies.

So… the $1 million/day thing… When I read it at first, I read "If you spent 1$ million every day from now until Jesus returns, you still wouldn't…"

…and i was wondering exactly when you had decided Jesus was returning. and also whether I should sell all my belongings, by a van and make signs, and follow you around, proclaiming the end of the world.

For Curb – here's your Amen brother!

Rdio is awesome. I just started using about 2 weeks ago. I was using Grooveshark before, but Rdio is WAY more organized.

Amen for Breaking Bad! I'm very, very excited about this season. So excited, I'm willing to go to my in-laws just to watch it (we don't have cable at home). That's dedication.

I'm ashamed to say I still haven't seen Curb yet (aside from a stray episode here and there).

I've checked out Rdio and love it. Haven't taken the plunge yet but probably will.

If I were honest, I would say these thoughts felt a little arbitrary.
