So, who’s that in the picture?
That’s my wife Amy and our two boys, Baylor and Collier

I’m sorry to do this right off the bat, but do you mind giving us a few different ways to contact you if we so desire?
Um, OK. Here are some links:  EmailTwitterFacebookYouTube

Interesting. I didn’t know you could be contacted through YouTube.
Oh, you can’t. I just put that there so you’d go watch our videos.

Our?
Yeah, Tripp and I. We also have a site called trippandtyler.com. We used to be in a comedy troup called DontBeThatGuy Films with David and Tim.

Neat. Sounds like someone’s living in the past.
Excuse me?

Nothing. Moving on…What would you say is the purpose of your blog?
Obviously, I want to make people laugh. There are enough serious blogs out there, so I’m trying to stay away from that. I’d rather spend my time talking about completely trivial things. I think people need levity, and I want to provide it.

Have you thought of a two-word phrase to sum it all up?
Funny you ask. “Entertain Inclusively” seems to sum up my goal.

Entertain inclusively…I’m not sure I understand.
There are a lot of things that I think are funny that I would never endorse. Take some of the SNL Digital Shorts for example. I laugh, but then feel the need to go take a shower. I’m not going to call my mom up and tell her to go check them out. I want to create content that is funny to everyone.

Seems impossible.
Jeff Foxworthy did it. Seinfeld did it. Bill Cosby did it.

Wait, are you actually comparing yourself to Foxworthy, Seinfeld, and Cliff Huxtable?
No. Did it come across that way? I’m sorry, I just mean that I look to them as proof that it can be done.

So how could I contact you if I wanted to, say, hire you to create this “inclusive entertainment”?
I already gave you my contact info. It was like your second question.

I don’t think so. Are you sure?
Yes. Scroll up a little.

Ah, now I remember. I made that funny YouTube joke.
That’s debatable.

Any closing remarks?
Just my personal motto. “The pot of gold isn’t necessarily at the end of the rainbow. But it’s the beginning of your heart.”

That doesn’t make se-
Just go with it.
