The first time I’ve ever wanted to punch my TV.
__

A perfect example of one of the pet peeves I wrote about the other day.

It’s normal to get your not-yet-2-year-old son a set of badminton racquets for Christmas, right?
__

My answer to Bryan Allain’s question the other day: “What’s the dumbest thing in your wallet right now?” I keep 1000 Yen because, well, you never know.

Yesterday’s drawing. Thanks again for all who helped out.

Life Lesson: If you spend too much time obsessing over the framing of your photo, your kid will put his mouth on the syrup bottle and chug it.

My Christmas present to…myself.

Two questions for you:

1. If you have a Keurig, which coffee is the best?

2. Is there some sort of a recycling program for the pods? I feel like I will personally be responsible for 16 new landfills by June.

This is how Dad makes lunch when Mom is at work: Grilled cheese, squash, and popcorn. Dessert? Sugar cubes and gum.

At a recent QuikTrip stop, I asked my friend Kevin to get me a small Mountain Dew. This is what he brought me, thus confirming the theory that good comedy is sometimes worth $4.85.

The occupancy equivalent of a 12 mph speed limit sign.

Setting up your computer by the window so you can keep an eye out for the FedEx truck has the supernatural ability to delay its arrival by 1.5 days. Also, it's kind of sad.

Life-changer.

My 3-year-old's drawing of Tripp, torso to scale.

Suckers.

Naturally, my nose waited until this hole to start bleeding.

Apparently, "push" just lost top its top ranking to an unranked opponent.

When I was visiting my friends in South Carolina last week, a nasty tornado came through town. Somehow, I managed to step in front of my friend Nate at just the right time to make it onto the Greenville news. Nate = sucker.

PS – read Kevin’s incredible synopsis of the entire event here.

This is a real ad in a real magazine. Makes me feel better about my own relationship with my iPhone. I mean, we’re friends and all, but best friends?

Baylor just brought this home from preschool. Remember these? The paper thin Scholastic catalog that prophesied about the impending Book Fair. Elementary school offered no better day.

When we wrote Bowlin, we pretty much had one song in mind that we wanted it to feel like – Boombox by The Lonely Island. There are no words to describe how it felt to have our album art touching theirs for a few brief moments. No words.

I love this time of year.

Behind-the-scenes shot of Chris Tomlin on our Bowlin’ shoot.

I thought about writing a funny caption, but I’d rather you just read the SkyMall description (thanks Cara).

Random Question:
I have 3 credits on my Audible account that I need to use before I cancel it. Any audiobook recommendations?
