+ Apparently, when they were making the original Karate Kid, they decided to shoot each scene’s rehearsal with cheap video cameras so the actors could watch themselves back afterwards. Seriously. Check it out. The entire “rehearsal movie” is on YouTube.

+ Bryan Allain just announced his upcoming Killer Tribes conference. It’s a one day conference geared towards writers, bloggers, artists, and small business owners (among others) to learn what it takes to build a killer tribe. Tripp and I will be there, along with a bunch of other people I’m excited to hear from. Sign up early for the best rates!

+ I don’t use the term “epic” very often, but the twist this week on Dexter was the very definition of epic.

+ I loved this video from Google about the evolution of search.

+ I just saw on of the funniest videos/best ideas I’ve seen in a while. Can’t wait to post it tomorrow when the Weekly Six returns.

+ There are few things I love more than having my work interrupted by my son needing help beating a level on Angry Birds. He’s never been prouder of me than he was around 3pm yesterday.

+ Today I’m giving away a copy of Holidays on Ice by David Sedaris. Not only is it relevant to the season, but it’s by one of the funniest authors of all time. Just answer the question in the comments and as always, I’ll pick a winner at random.

    Yes, I did. Ventured to Nike in Dawsonville…took me 5 minutes to find what I wanted. 1.5 hour wait time to check out ensued.

    Yes. I bought a gift for my mom on Black Friday, but around 6 pm. I love my mom, but sleep and non-pepper sprayed eyes won out on this one.

    Yes. I went for the first time and with my in-laws. My wife and I do not have a Sam's card so I went for the free breakfast. While there we bought garlic, craisins, and french fried onions…you know, your typical Black Friday things purchased at 5:30 in the morning.

    I did not buy anything, but amazon's music deals killed me. There were so many great ones. Look what you have done to me Dave Ramsey, look what you have done to me. Previous Adam would have pounced on those deals.

    i didn't buy anything, but i stood in line for 3 hours and 45 minutes to get a TV only to learn that they didn't enough to go around. left with nothing except the memory.

    Yes to both. Target on Friday and Oldnavy.com on Monday. If Target keeps putting their seasons of TV on sale, I might have to buy a bigger bookcase.

    Bought a 32 gb micro SD card! And an electronic toothbrush for my wife. And a few albums on amazonmp3. All in all a pretty good Monday.

    Navy Blue Thread. I really needed some thread for my gloves. I have had them for a while now but the right lower thumb area was becoming a little too bare for my liking. So, I like every other crazy fabric customer was at the fabric store on Black Friday, trying to score a cheap deal on a spool. Pretty good deal though. Totally worth the wait time. Took like 7 minutes to get through the line.

    I have to admit I feel quite dumb. I bought my brother a USB missile launcher (just a toy one) on Sunday forgetting that the next day there would be great deals. Coulda saved on shipping. Oh well.

    On Black Friday I bought a washing machine.  To replace the one that came with my house.  The house that i had only purchased 7 days earlier – that was supposed to come with “a working washing machine.”

    I (via my wife) bought gifts that will be given to my parents, wrapped, and given back to us on Christmas day.  For my wife, the greatest gift of all is shopping for herself.
